Painting doesn't mean coloring forms, but forming colors
Helga and Eric
After having been self-employed in the creative fashion business for over 30 years, Helga found her way to painting in 2003, which has become her great passion since then. She now paints with great dedication in her studio at the Arkadenhof. Her paintings can be found in private art collections in Austria and abroad as well as on the walls of the Arkadenhof. Her distinct sense for colours, shapes and haptics is reflected in the interior design of the Arkadenhof as well as in a great number of her commissioned work.
After an eventful career in politics and business, Eric now enjoys reading and photographing. His books and pictures can be seen at the Arkadenhof.
Further works of art at the Arkadenhof
Over the years, the art lovers Helga and Eric have collected some special works of art, which now found their new home at the Arkadenhof. Amongst others, you can see artwork from Hans Weigand (St. Martin an der Raab, Austria), Macpie (South Africa), Tinguely (Switzerland), Cornelia Castelli (Switzerland) and Makiwa (South Africa). The iron sculptures and figurines made of rusted synthetic material and steel from Josef Eder (Burgau, Austria) add to the Arkadenhof’s special ambiance.
